“Developing scientific temperament is a fundamental duty of every citizen of India but there is a huge communication gap between the science community and common people. This gap can be fulfilled by initiating the step of ‘Science for Society’ where the scientific community can come forward and play an important role in bridging this gap. Samvet Bharat (under the aegis of Samvetan Society for Social and Scientific Research ) is a small step to initiate a fruitful discussion between the scientific community and masses to inculcate scientific temper in the society and bring a substantial change in the life of common people. The collective efforts under this umbrella will be dedicated to achieve the goal of sustainable development and save mother earth to ensure that our future generations get a safe environment.”
